Location: Neah Bay and Clallam Bay
Date of Employment: On Call as needed
Salary: $200 per day for full day base rate
Qualifications:
- Mimimum of 72 quarter college credits or a valid degree from an accredited college or university
- Current WashingtonState Teaching Certificate, Substitute Certificate or Emergency Substitute Certificate. (Contact Human Resources for information on obtaining Emergencey Sub Cert.)
- Have or can obtain clearance from Washington State Patrol and FBI background check
Essential Job Functions:
- Meet and instruct assigned classes at the location and time designated.
- Follow lessons plans provided by regular classroom teacher.
- Superivse students in a safe and orderly environment.
- Follow classroom rules of behavior and classroom procedures consistent with building and district policy.
- Maintain appropriate classroom standards and treat students in a fair and just manner.
- Develop open lines of communication with students, staff and parents.
- Take all necessary and reasonalbe precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
- Maintain privacy and protection of student and family information as mandated by the code of ethics, federal and state regulation, and school district policies.
- Maintain a positive attitude, good work ethic,and demonstrate promptness in work arrival and in accomplishing all tasks.
- Other customary and reasonalbe duties as assigned.
